Goddard School – two-way LineLeader CRM sync

Goddard, the franchisor behind several hundred Goddard School private early-education schools, was rolling out LineLeader CRM alongside its custom franchise management system. Both had to stay in sync in both directions without echo loops, out-of-order writes or silent data loss.

I stood up the repo and the Azure DevOps pipeline (tests, coverage, secret scanning, DEV and QA deploys) and hand-built the CRM API client because no spec existed. I also wrote the change-feed reader with a durable cursor, delivered several sync flows end to end, and ran the pre-UAT audit of all 17 flows. Single-worker queues preserve write order, and echo prevention is symmetric on both sides. There are about 1,170 tests, including real-CDC integration tests in containers.

Live in DEV from July 2026, with 7,434 cross-system ID mappings seeded and 15 of 17 flows passing the pre-UAT audit. The other two were blocked by issues outside the sync service.
