All Hope Is (not) Lost

I decided that Saturday was a good day to move my site from to I figured that I would just copy the files and viola, right? Wrong. I had a disastrous DB incident where what could go wrong, did go wrong. Essentially, I lost my website. I quickly inquired of my host if by chance they had nightly backups. It turns out they had several. Approximately six a day. I was over-joyed and happily paid the small fee to get my data back. It was a small victory for the techs at Media Temple, but a big victory for myself. Perhaps it wasn't a big deal to them, but they made a strong customer out of me - that much is for sure.
